There’s always something fun to do at The Magherabuoy. Whether it’s the beach, the sea or just plain activities that will make your day, we can have everything prepared for you and your family.

The Hotel

Built in 1860 as the retirement home for Doctor Robert Hamilton, the Grade II-B listed Magherabuoy House became the nucleus of our Hotel in 1985 when development work began on the site. The venue opened as a Hotel two years later. The accommodation in the former gentleman’s residence is now used for meeting rooms and our resident’s lounge.

The Rooms

Our 55 bedrooms have been carefully designed to meet the needs of our varied clientele, from corporate travellers and golfers, to sight-seeing tourists and stay-at-home holidaymakers. Each room is generously proportioned and offers high standards of comfort and functionality. Ensuite bathrooms are fitted with Rainstorm power showers, ensuring a refreshing beginning to your day.

The Food

Dining is a significant part of the Magherabuoy experience, and no stay with us is complete without sampling from our range of dining options. From the unpretentious offer available in our Bistro, to the honest simplicity of our restaurant menu, to our traditional Sunday carvery, and the home-baked goodness of our Tea Room – there is choice and food that will delight any appetite.
