As part of Best Western Magherabuoy House Hotels ongoing commitment to product development and improvement a major renovation and expansion scheme was undertaken in the Hotel during winter 2005-06.  

The £2.5 million project has enhanced all facilities to provide unparalleled levels of comfort and luxury in our accommodation, reception and function areas.

The Hotel continued to operate during the renovation period, with six bedrooms remaining available for guest use, and all function, restaurant and leisure facilities operating as normal.

Our most extensive revamp since opening involved construction of 55 new luxury bedrooms, enhancement of dining and bar facilities, development of function and conference suites, refurbishment and extension of reception area and landscaping of grounds.

Once the planned works are completed and we launch our improved product in the spring of 2005, our customers can expect to see an enormous change in our premises - inside and out - in both residential and public areas of the Hotel.

We are and will remain a locally owned business, and as such can promise to remain true to our core values - that our customer continues to contribute to our success and in return our customer is entitled to expect nothing less than the very best in hospitality.

We continue to offer what we believe to be good value rates and comfortable surroundings, with inclusive use of our leisure amenities, bar and dining facilities available all day and lounge entertainment once a week. We are committed to maintaining competitive rates upon completion of the refurbishment programme in recognition of the valued support our customers have given us over the years.
